IcomMounting Bracket,3/16" L x 2-3/8" W

The mount was received in perfect condition, and in remarkable short time, considering that this was and international order.It works fantastically well and as advertised. I can recommend it to anybody considering this mount.

The box even says Icom MBA-4 Combination Bracket, made in Japan. Seems legit, solid and well made and fits perfectly to my Icom 2730A transceiver. This is my first Icom but I can't believe this so called accessory didn't come as default, usually the face should be stuck to the body, and if you want to remove the face and extend it then that should be an optional accessory.That's on Icom and not related to this accessory so can't take off a star, I read a lot of reviews before buying the Icom 2730A and lots of complaints about it not coming with any mounting brackets, which I thought wasn't an issue for me since I was going to use it as a base station and not in the car. But it turns out you either need to also buy this MBA-4 accessory so you can attach the face to the body, or buy the car mounting kit, otherwise you are only give a long cable that connects the face to the body but no way to secure the face to anything.At least Icom should have made that clear on their product page for the Icom 2730A, so buyer beware, hope that helps someone plan ahead.

Securely attaches the Icom 2730 face plate to the body without any exposed wires. Easy to slide on/off. Genuine Icom part, and much less expensive here than from major Ham retailers.

Simple to install. Allows the control panel for the IC-2730A to attach to the body of the radio. Great when using this radio in the shack.

Great product. It fits as advertised. I would recommend this to anyone that has this radio. Great price too.

I needed to make install the faceplate back to the main unit on a radio I was given. This was extremely easy with everything required.

Icom in its InFinAtE wiSdoM produced a 2m/70cm radio that requires a separate bracket to mount the control head to the radio. We purchase one of these brackets for every IC-2730A we put into one of our Icom All-in-One Shack-in-a-Box amateur radio go boxes. Five star rating because it works, but really wish they hadn’t done it this way.

This bracket fits great, looks great and works great….. the only reason why it doesn’t get 5 stars from me is because IT SHOULD COME WITH THE RADIO! It’s like buying a new car, but you don’t get the tires!
