Excellent - luxurious - writes beautifully
I have two of these - one for my pocket and one for my desk. My work requires that I always have a pen to hand and while I have beautiful fountain pens, the convenience of a ball-point is hard to beat. Since I can't abide cheap biros and the like I have found these Sonnet ball-points to be simply excellent - the feel of the Lacquer version in the hand is silkily luxurious while the ball point writes beautifully. It has to be more than a coincidence that when I hand my pen to someone who needs to use it to sign a document the usual comment is 'Nice pen!' So far I've always managed to get my pen back.

Disappointing
Very disappointing. I got this as a 40th Anniversary gift. For the price I paid, this looks and feels cheap. Light, thin and similar to a free pen you might get in a hotel. Impressive? Not as a gift, which was the purpose of the purchase. I immediately sensed that the recipient of this gift thought it was a cheapo Parker worth about £8-12. Not recommended. I felt embarrassed giving this as a gift.

Good-looking workhorse pen!
I chose this pen because I wanted a durable, yet good-looking ballpoint to carry around at university and work. Its stainless steel body and chrome trim gives it a classy look, without attracting too much attention compared to a pen with gold trim.The pen itself feels sturdy and well-made, and the new Parker Quick Flow refills are really something! I had previously stopped using ballpoint pens, because they write so dry and/or skip, but with the introduction of Parker Quink Flow refills, I have started to use ballpoint pens again!I recommend this pen to anyone who'd like to have a good work horse pen to carry for everyday use. I also own 2 other versions of this pen. The black lacquer with gold trim version and the Sterling Silver with gold trim version, they are all good. But I'd choose this version if you don't want to attract too much attention with your pen at work.

Really nice pen
I had been looking to buy a nice ballpoint pen for a while and had been putting it off due to the price and the 'investment'. A friend lent a Parker Sonnet slim to me for a couple of days and it fitted nicely in my hand. I then saw the Silver Cisele pen on the Amazon website and after a few days decided to purchase. I am really pleased. It feels nice to write with and looks good. This will last me for years to come (assuming I do not lose it!).

Nice looking pen that is well built
Slightly pricey pen for what it is. Barrel had a pearlescent sheen and there were no issues with the pen, quality and craftsmanship were top notch. Presentation box good quality too. This was the slim version of the pen. The normal sized version has a bigger diameter barrel and is cheaper. I got this one as I wanted a slimmer pen? Was it worth it? I am undecided.Overall though a good quality pen, you can't go wrong with it. Consider the normal sized one, unless you are buying for someone with small hands or a small lady.
