This is a superior quality cable for hooking up subwoofers via s single-line hookup. I am using mine with a Yamaha VX-3000 receiver connected to a Now Hear This (NHT) Super 8 subwoofer, and the bass just rolls out in smooth and uniform manner. I was so pleased that I had made the decision to upgrade to this cable for my subwoofer, because it simply is worth every penny, and actually, could be considered under priced for what you get. An integrated grounding wire is embedded within the sleeve of the cable in case your system picks up any hum, which can happen with subwoofer installations. In my case, there is no issue, and if you also do not experience this, you simply leave the y-shaped grounding plug disconnected. The quality, the look, and the performance of this outstanding subwoofer cable easily earn it a five star rating in my book, and I'm so pleased I picked up one.

I was extremely concerned about spending 40 bucks on speaker wire but after buying a brand new powered Klipsch subwoofer I was experiencing a loud and increasingly annoying hum when the system was off. Tried a few methods to fix it including putting both the receiver and subwoofer on the same power strip with no luck. I plugged this in and it worked like a dream. Feedback issue was eliminated immediately. This was worth every penny. If you are spending on setting up a high end home theater do yourself a favor and don't skimp on the wire. This product is excellent.

Excellent build quality great craftsmanship. Built out of good material will serve the purpose for which it was made. However it is a total waste of money!!! This is just a glorified RCA cable. Solid core wire is just a marketing fad, in real life there is no improvement between solid core and stranded wire. Yes this has a ground wire attached, a ground wire which very few will ever need. If you do you could always just run your own ground wire. Don't bother buying this. Just use a standard RCA cable. Later you can add a ground cable if you actually need it.

Very good quality and value for the money. I was using normal rca cable before but after changing to audio quest black lab cable can feel the improvement in the sound quality and the punch of the subwoofer.

The ground connection eliminated a buzz that I had running a REL sub to my television. Good quality from Audioquest without going up market and breaking the bank. Starting to understand why some audiophiles spend dearly on cords.

"It works", and that's all I should really expect from a cable. That said, I don't really buy into all the premium cable nonsense, so I think paying $150 for a 16m RCA cable is ridiculous. BUT, that's what my customer wanted, and that's what they got. With all the other BS claims about this type of thing, I'm surprised they don't claim it to be free range, gluten free, and carbon neutral.

My subwoofer hummed with 2 cheaper cables I had used, the Audioquest fixed that issue. Worth every cent.

Lo compre por que mi anterior cable generaba un zumbido con un subwoofer Hamo, este cable lo ha resuelto, es caro pero al menos el problema lo ha solucionado.
