RUST-OLEUM 287328 Paint, 1 gal, Tint

This is NOT gray. I have to return because no one will add color to it for me because it’s not their product.

Hope to get a refund and new can! Sent it back and another gallon was shipped but it was not 100% full as the photo shows and took it to Lowe's to tint it but they could not due to the plastic lid would not fit tight. Really regret buying from this seller. Frustrated I took the second gallon home and mixed it myself and did apply it to our small porch.

Lid was open on 1 side. Leaked everywhere. I cleaned it up and tried to reclose it so I can go get it shaken up but it won't close tight.

They advise not using it vertically but it solved a huge problem for us. We had a side of the house exposed to the sun, and squirrels and woodpeckers had really damaged the wood in a large area. (We no longer hang any bird feeders there.) I did not want to pay for new siding and saw a sample on some wood in the DIY store. It sort of bonds with the sometimes shredded wood. It adhered well and made a very tough surface that squirrels could not put claws in. That was 8 years ago and we are still good. After that success we painted the rest of the house with the Restore 2x product. So one side has that sandy textured surface and the other 3 are smooth. One very small corner is peeling now and I am hoping to get some more and take it to a friend at the store to have it tinted.

After 1 year it was flaking and peeling off even though the surface was prepped correctly.Do not buy this product it is a waste of money and time. There is a class action lawsuit against this product and company.

Absolute junk! I spent a week scraping it off my deck!Look at the terrible results.

I was very excited to try this product out to restore my deck. It was easy to apply but as you can see from the photo it only lasted a year. It peels right off.

Horrible stuff. It's like pancake batter mixed with sand and leaves decking looking terrible! I quit, got my money back and purchased an oil stain which looks great.
