It’s great. We had to do some googling to figure out how to fill the propane from the bigger bottle, but it worked. No issues!

Easy to set up and use, great value. Been searing my steaks every morning with it for a whole can. Read the instructions which clearly stipulate not to turn the can from upright for 45 seconds after starting. The unit sits atop the cans and is light but solidly constructed. Very pleased with it. Also used it to melt cheese on a burger without having to use the broiler. Very convenient!And to those saying they can "taste butane" I sincerely doubt that their food is absorbing a gas which is getting combusted on leaving the nozzle. They're just oversearing (burning their food) which makes an unpleasant smoky burnt taste. Just watch your food carefully and don't go until black marks appear. It's not that hard, people. This is a superb product!

I tested like 5 different versions/brands of this product and this one was by far the best. It's only one that didn't feel like it would fail in a week. Can't talk about long term durability yet but first impressions are very positive.

This is ONLY the top torch part and does not include a canister of fuel. Based off the description, cost, photos and reviews I assume this came with a can as well. Unfortunately, it does not so I cannot use it without spending and additional $30 and waiting another 1-2 weeks for a pack of cans. While I know it’s not the most helpful to leave reviews when you haven’t used the product, I found this to be pretty misleading and I wouldn’t have purchased this had it been clearer.

Good quality

This torch is fabulous. It has a very adjustable flame and does a very good job of the topping for cream brulee and meringue. I followed the directions and found it easy to use and to store.

I've used the torch head now on nine different butane cans and the torch head hasn't failed yet
