It's perfect in nearly every way. Has loads of extra surprises. The 5mm allen key is abit short, so if you have a very hard to reach bolt, like seat-post clamp on a special carbon frame... Just bring one small Allen key with you, won't hurt.Ps it's very shiny

Sadly I bought 2 of these Topeak tools. The one for my husband broke first time whilst trying to lever off his front tyre. Mine broke today whilst trying to remove a broken chain link from a club members chain, we were mid ride and miles from home. Fortunately someone else in the group had a chain breaker in their pack. All in all I would avoid especially given two seperate tools let us down - tyre lever and chain breaker.It is lightweight and compact but not built for purpose. Is anything these days? Trying to find something that doesn't have a bad review is emmensly difficult.

I’ve got a couple of multi tools, Aldi special, Halfords etc and there’s always something that’s missing from each. I made a “ Frankentool” from bits of each, but it was clumsy to use. Got this after a recommendation from a cycling forum and it’s great. Side covers detach and become tyre levers, useful chain tool with hook etc. Overall a good buy.

First off this amazing multi tool was in the sale so i got it for the price of a cheapy chinese copy, which was nice! You can feel that this is a quality item by the weight of it and the chromed finish of the tools, the built in tyre levers are strong as is the chain tool, and no space is wasted with things like valve cap looseners and spoke keys cut into the sides of the lever, and a sprung chain hook wrapped around the profile of the chain tool. The torx bits clip well into the middle of the tool, but could be easy to drop with cold muddy hands and there isnt a flat head driver, so it isnt absolutely perfect, but its close.

This is a great multitool, its got all you would need for roadside jobs and even on longer tours. The chain breaker works well using the lever as an arm from leverage. The tools feel strong and secure. Good in the hand and its a good size for packing away. This would be a great multitool even at twice the price but for £14 its exceptional. For reference I've got a crankbrothers and park tool as comparison to this. Unless you have a specific requirement that this tool can't provide you with I would 100% recommend this tool.
