HQRPRemote Control Compatible with Sharp LC-C5255U LC-C5262U LC-C6077UN LC-C6554U LCD LED HD TV Smart 1080p 3D Ultra 4K AQUOS

I have a Sharp LC-C5277UN, of which the remote is lost. I was glad to see this remote and the only earlier review seems to be very detail and convincing. However, I think the list of TV models listed here is not accurate for the least I can say. This remote does not work with mine, LC-C5277UN. What's worse, a few buttons works and works in a way different from what they are supposed to. My TV worked well with HDMI input of which I could watch a few things without a remote. Today I turned on the TV with this new remote (!) and hit the channel button. The TV want to some other mode and I no longer connect to HDMI. And then I could never bring it back. The AV input button does not work as an AV input button. Manu button does not work either. I followed the earlier review, which says I should follow the instruction on the back side of the remote, which asks you to press buttons 1 and 2 and hold for 6 seconds until the light on remote flashes for 3 times. I pressed and held for long long time , nothing come up. Not working still. I finally googled this freaking remote, apparently the website of this seller , HQRP, does not even listed my TV (LC-C5277UN) as one of the ones it is supposed to work. I don't know why the seller listed this TV model here. Now , I am stuck with a TV that does not connect to HDMI ! Ugh ... I don't know it it works for other mode. But ... Bad experience.

I purchased this remote for our Sharp TV. We had lost our original remote, and now we couldn't change the tv input anymore without having to do it on the tv itself. So I made sure that this remote would work with the Sharp model that we have before ordering it. After receiving it, I successful turned on and off the tv with it, but no other functions would work. There were no instructions on the paperwork. After googling it a reviewer mentioned to look at the back of the remote. Voila...it said to hold down the 1 & 2 button for 6 seconds and that programmed the remote, and now it works perfectly!!! We are happy campers now and so glad we solved our remote issue for about $10 including shipping :). It even came with batteries. I highly recommend it.

The only reason I bought was to program my T.V. it works great but was not able to program my T.V.
