Bad Dog, Marley!

Read it again grandpa.
One of my grandsons wants me to read this book every night, sometimes twice. We substitute our family’s names in place of those in the book, it is lots of fun, especially when I forget to make the substitution and hear about it right away.

Adorable, Funny... A Must for Dog Lovers and their Children!
I read "Marley and Me" and absolutely loved it, so I was thrilled when I saw this children's book, "Bad Dog, Marley". I read it in the store and laughed out loud at the story and the hilarious illustrations! I showed my husband, and he loved it too.The illustrations are adorable and children will love looking at Marley climbing onto the counters to get at cake, drinking out of the toilet, digging through the wall to hid from the storm, or saving Baby Louie by picking him up by his diaper. The story line is similar to "Marley and Me" in that it is about a sweet, bumbling dog who tries to do well, but whose enthusiasm and energy end up getting him in trouble. In the end, Marley saves the day and the family comes to appreciate the special gift they have -- even if he did eat Dad's paycheck and destroy the couch. This is going right on my child's bookshelf!

This book is great for kids!
Having just read John Grogan's book "Marley and Me," I had to have the children's book. I loved and laughed heartily at John Grogan's heartwarming story of life with his beloved dog Marley and his growing family. I am a fourth grade teacher and had already shared some especially funny excerpts with my students. Subsequently, I introduced and read "Bad Dog Marley!" to my students and they loved it! I would recommend reading "Marley and Me" before the children's book to get a true appreciation of the trials and tribulations of owning a dog like Marley. As a side note, having shared my imense enjoyment of the book "Marley and Me" with another teacher, I learned that she also has a "Marley" sort of dog, only his name is Walter!

Great for dog lovers
Such a fun story for kids of all ages. I am a teacher and my students love this story. It is fun and playful. All children love to hear a friendly story about a mischievous dog. We all laugh while reading this story. It is also a great way to teach the kids about the huge responsibility of dogs or any pets. I highly recommend this book.

Good book for children
Had this book middle school library and it was popular with some of our younger readers. This copy was purchased as a gift for a child.

I don't know what it is...
... but this is my daughter's favorite book. Maybe she can relate to the fact that even though Marley has some rough edges, he is a loved member of the family. She also loves the children: Cassie and Baby Louie. A fun bedtime read!

Our new fave bedtime book!
My 3 year old loves this book and so do I! Being dog lovers the adventures of naughty pup Marley are so funny and make our own dog seem like an angel though we recognise many a naughty behaviour! It is right up there with Mr Pusskins A love Story, another book I don't mind reading again and again!
