Disposable gloves. You and your fingers will thank me
Worked good for adding extra protection for outside water pipes. I used foam 3/4 inch pieces and used this to wrap and secure the foam. Wear disposable gloves this stuff is very sticky and will get on your fingers without gloves. It’s thin and breaks easy so work in small sections. It took extra time but worked for my needs

Fairly easy to use.
This tape works well, adheres to surface and is fairly easy to handle (once you peel paper covering off).

Stiky pipe wrap
It's very sticky and it works. It's about 1/8 thick. The product is good for tight places for pipes or if you want to double wrap. The only issue and it's a big one is the the pipe wrap is not wide enough to cover 1/2 pipe as advertised. You wind up using two pieces for the same length to cover the whole pipe wrap id you want to prevent freezing. It's you to judge. I needed only 10 feet and used up the whole roll just about.

Kept hot water tank from freezing
Wrapped the exposed pipes on my water heater that is in garage on a north wall. Made it through the recent Texas ice storm and sub zero wind chills with no issue. Dallas homes aren't built with this weather in mind and in the last one I had no hot water for several days. This fixed it great

Worked for my need.
Worked for me. I needed something cheap and simple to insulate lines coming out from my outside central air conditioning unit to try to conserve cool air loss/heat and humidity impact( South Louisiana summertime). It seems to be sticking well. Definitely sticks well on itself.

Adhesive isn’t very strong and tears easily

I ordered 2 rolls. Although everything looked the same (product & packaging) both rolls behaved very differently. The first roll was strong and could be stretched, however the adhesive was very poor. The second roll could not be stretched and ripped very easily, however the adhesive on it was very good.
