Sheet Metal Pedestal Band / Ring Roller

Works great. I assembled it backwards from the instructions as other reviews said to do. I did not to try to assemble it the way the instructions showed. It works like it should. It is very good copy of an American tool.

Super product!!! I can not stop using it. As a sculptor it has opened a whole new world of possibilities. I will probably be buying another one soon!!!

The main shaft was manufactured out of tolerance, so that has to be machined down a bit in order to assemble it. Once you get past that, it's a simple, functional tool, if the less expensive brand.

Have not had time to use it yet, but it is heavy and well built. I'm sure it will perform well for it's intended purpose. It was well packed and easy to assemble, arrived quickly.

This is the first time that I have ever written a review, but I see a bunch of people mentioning shimming, and adjusting, and tinkering... here's what I found: The directions have you assemble the whole thing backwards, the drive mechanism goes the other way around from how it is shown. When you do this everything lines up nearly perfectly. There is a bit of play that you can remove with some washers, but it suited my purposes perfectly. I did, however, replace the tension pin with a bolt so I could more easily remove the top roller to take the ring out. I didn't bolt it to the floor because I found I could just put a foot on it and it would stay put. Also, it will roll a ring tighter that 8 inches if you move the outside rollers in to the closer holes... unlike the tension pin for the main roller, these come out really quickly and easily, as-is. Bottom line... China is starting to make decent tools, but their assembly instructions aren't up to par. BTW, even when I buy Milwaukee tools I find myself "fine-tuning."

Well what do we expect for $129. Live and learn. Typical of Asian machines it's very poorly made. Expect to put in many hours 'tweeking' it - which by the time you end up doing that you could have made your own. I'll end up using the parts in a redesigned format. Save your money and build your own.
