Pearl D2500 Drum Throne

I had this seat for a couple of months and the seat collapsed during a gig. I am a Pearl fan but I am disappointed with this seat. I am lucky I lived around the corner from the bar and was able to go get my spare throne. Money down the drain!!! Its a good seat and comfortable but it shouldn't break that easy. It happened to someone else I know as well.

I actually got this throne to shoot (rifles) on. I've only had it for a short time, so what I can say is that it is heavy duty. I can not attest to the durability, but it seems as if it will hold up fine.

The quality of it was very bad

I needed a new throne desperately and really didn't want to pay full retail for the throne I wanted. I actually wanted teh model before this one but it isn't really sold anymore. Found this one advertised much less than the retail for a brand new one and I swear it looked brand new when I received it. The notes said it was only used for a clinic and I believe that because there is absolutely no wear and tear and it is perfect for me. I have played over 10 gigs with it and it feels great.
