I got a 'used' salt lamp on Amazon Warehouse for like $10. but it did not work so I searched replacement bases on Amazon and was happy to find this one. It works perfectly and the 8x bulbs included are plenty bright. I'm not using the salt lamp as a total light source, more for mood and background.I did have to snip one of the tines of the base with some wire cutters in order for it to fit in the hole of of my salt lamp, (your mileage may vary). After doing so, it fit in perfectly. And I have 5 extra bulbs so I'm quite happy.

At first I was disappointed because I thought it wasn’t going to fir in my standard sized salt lamp. I just had to be strategic about it and it went right in! Light bulbs are a great plus! Yay! My lamp works again.

I bought these two replace my salt lamp lights that has broken overtime. They work really well. In fact, they work better than the plugs that came with the salt lamps. I've had no issues.

I have a salt lamp for years and it needed a replacement cord. This particular cord was the lowest priced and came with 6 extra bulbs and a dimmer switch. I was concerned that the butterfly clip looked plastic. Metal prongs are much easier to squeeze into the base. The plastic prongs had absolutely no give. If you force it in you won’t be able to remove the base when it’s time to change the bulb. I broke the plastic clamps off and sat the lamp on the flat base. Works great and when it’s time to change the bulb I can just lift the lamp. Just something you might want to consider depending on your style of lamp.

I purchased Himalayan lamp from the thrift store and it was missing the cord. I chose this product because of the price & it came with 6 light bulbs.The product fit nicely. It just pop right into the bottom. No screws needed. The light switch is dimmable so you can adjust the brightness.I would totally recommend this product to friends/family if they needed it.

The additional replacement bulbs were a bonus.

This works for my salt lamp. I feel this one may be more durable than the original plug it came in. Now it's good as new. Recommend but make sure it fits the salt lamp since there may be different plugs.
