I recently purchased this electric food steamer, and it has been a delightful addition to my kitchen. Primarily, I use it to prepare delicious baozi and mantou, and it performs exceptionally well. The size is just perfect for a family of four, ensuring that everyone gets their share of these steamed treats. One of the standout features of this steamer is its versatility. I experimented with cooking soy chicken in it, and the results were fantastic. The steamer maintained the right level of moisture and heat, resulting in perfectly cooked, flavorful chicken. However, it's worth noting that this steamer might not be the best choice for cooking rice. I found that rice requires extra time for soaking before steaming, which can be a bit inconvenient. If rice is a staple in your diet, you might want to stick to a traditional rice cooker for that purpose. Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with this electric food steamer. It's easy to use, efficient, and great for a variety of dishes, especially for steamed buns and chicken. Highly recommended for families who love steamed dishes!

I LOVE this steamer! Although directions were a bit vague, steamer is surprisingly easy to use. Steamer trays are lightweight, yet substantial like the tempered glass lid and the unit heats up quickly - if you by-pass the "preset" button and go straight to function. I don't eat noodles, but am anxious to try the noodle pot portion for making a nice veggie soup. Stainless steel makes for super easy clean-up, with the trays (NOT bottom unit!), steam accelerator and lid being dishwasher safe. The pink color is a bonus for me, as I think it is super cute! This unit replaced 20 years of reliable B&D plastic steamers as I am moving away from using plastics in my household. Recommend this purchase and hope it lasts a long, long time.

Bought this around 2022 and barely used only use a handful of time. The steamer is hard to clean as the water pot is connected to all the buttons so when rinsing you have to be super careful not to get water into the buttons. After 5 uses for only holidays like this time of the year… not worth it! The buttons and electronics setting failed! I can’t steam and preset the timer and it’s all whacked up! Remember this was only a handful of time used for holidays cooking to help with steaming…

Express delivery. I got Amazon “Add a card” credit $25 to purchase this steamer pot. It’s very convenient to use, faster heating, and big enough for 1-2 persons. But the quality is not worth the price paid. I wouldn’t buy it if I didn’t get the credit.

I am not even close to joking when I say we use this every week. It has been one of the best things I got when Prime Day was happening. The family talks about how we wanted to steam buns or dumplings, but the cleanup of the bamboo steamer we had was always a bit harder than we wanted, and sometimes, the pan we used to use the bamboo steamer just cooked them unevenly. This has been an absolute godsend because of that. It cooks on two different levels and cooks a lot at a time. On top of that, it's super easy to clean. You just need to make sure you read the directions. I saw a couple of reviews about this breaking super fast, and I can say that ours has not after having this since Prime Day til now and using it weekly, if not twice weekly. I can't guarantee this is the reason; however, I will say you have to follow the directions to take care of it and clean it. Like most cooking electric devices, you don't put them fully in the sink. (The bottom holds water but cannot go in the sink as it's the cooking area.) As it is electric, you have to use the right care methods, such as soap and water on towels and the like. So if you plan on getting this, just keep that in mind.

I like how easy it is to use this steamer. The multi-layered design fits so much food, we use it at least once a week. However, it has stopped working after 10 months (purchased December 2022). I’m not sure what to do now since the technical support window has closed by now.

This works great and gets to 211 degrees in 1-2 minutes. It is easy to safely remove and check your food for tenderness. We found ourselves steaming more which is healthier plus you taste the veggies.
