TACTI Grip Series

Work like a charm! I wish I would have bought these a long time ago. I'm not one of those guys that shoots constantly or competitively so I can't compare them with any others of higher quality. To me these are high quality, I'm sure there are a lot better ones so it makes me wonder how much more are you getting for ones that cost 4 or 5X more? I have never worn any ear protection during whitetail gun season. Now that I am older I want to protect my hearing more than what I have in the past. Recently I bought a 45/70...you definitely need ear protection with that beast and these do the trick. I have owned them now for two deer seasons and have no complaints. The other thing I like about them is that they keep my ears warm. I'd purchase another pair.

This hearing protector headset is one of the most comfortable sets I've ever had. And with the electronics working you can easily hear someone talking to you while it suppresses the loud bang of a gun shot. Comfort is the best thing about this set! I can wear it for extended periods without having to take it off to give my head a break!

I love these things. They make it possible to hear a conversation from across the yard, yet flawlessly muffle gunfire while you’re shooting. I haven’t owned a pair of active ear pro like this before, so, admittedly I have no basis for comparison but these work exactly as advertised and appear to be very well built. What sold me though was the ability to use REGULAR batteries. I’m not interested in buying yet another gadget with built-in Li-ion rechargeable batteries that will inevitably lose the ability to hold a charge over time and then will be a hassle to replace (if it’s even possible!). Kudos to them for making a PRACTICAL AA battery powered alternative! The only reason I didn’t give these 5 stars is that the part that contacts your ears can get a bit damp with sweat when it’s hot and humid outside, but my other ear pro headphones do that too. I’m not sure there’s an easy solution to it other than earbuds. I like the fact that this are super sturdy, very hard to misplace or lose them and the batteries last and are simple to replace with a battery you can find anywhere. I can’t say any of that about the earbud type active hearing protection, so these are definitely for me.

Great fit non slip Great Headset

Okay, so a friend of mine bought the Bluetooth enabled muffs, I bought these. I was able to adjust mine to hear normal conversation and listen in on conversations at a distance that my friend could not. The are comfortable and I will be using them on a plane tonight. Plus, they look really cool. I got the FDE model and the headband matches the ear cuffs. The looks are a bonus, but it's totally worth it considering they work perfectly. Okay, after a year of use, let me update the review. I'm still using them, not just for the range but on airplanes and other places where I need to sleep in a noisy environment. Essentially, they are slightly more comfortable cheap hearing aids with hearing protection added. I say this because that is what they were compared to by a veteran with severe hearing damage. Would I buy them again, yes. But since I do not need to, I have a list of upgrades I want on my next set, and I would pay twice as much for. 1. Bluetooth connectivity. I want to be able to connect to my phone or to a radio for communications. I am not even sure I care about a microphone, but listening to a podcast or music would be nice. 2. I want a behind the ear model. I wear hats and I have a big head. the ability to put the band behind my neck would be a major plus. 3. I love the color matched head band. Don't judge me. It's not a deal breaker, but if I was going to buy it anyway I was going to buy what I thought looked cool. So, how about making the whole thing in OCP Camo? As an added note, I have not gotten compliments for anything I have worn since my 20's. Wearing these on a plane a number of people wanted to know where to get them. One of them thought they were the basically the Red Neck version of Beats by Dre, but still.
