Everyone with airbags should have a pair
All I have to say that if you have airbags, you have to purchase these. If you go off pavement these will give you back your articulation and make your ride a lot nicer. Even if you don't go off road- potholes, railroad tracks, anything you go over that causes the rear suspension to drop down, these will help. I have a 2008 Silverado 1500 4X4 with a 6 inch lift. Everytime I went over something in the city that caused the rear suspension to drop down I was afraid something would happen to one of the airbag components. On the Silverado 1500, the Firestone Airbags only had cheap little j-bolts holding the bracket down to the jounce stop. Well guess what happened when one side of the suspension wanted to travel downward? Those cheap little j-bolts gave and failed causing the airbag, spacer and bracket to get wedged sideways between the axle and top braacket The j-bolts were practically pulled straight.I purchased the Daystar Cradles so the airbags wouldn't have to be attached to the bottem brackets anymore and were free to let the suspension drop as far as they would go and when the suspension travels back up, the cradle centers the airbags giving it a place to land without letting it slip out latteraly.As for the j-bolts my fix for that was to toss them, cut off the parts of the lower brackets that they bolted to and welded the brackets themselves onto the jounce pads. Now I have an airbag system that works and works well without the worry of tearing the airbags apart, or stretching out cheap little j-bolts causing catastrophic helper airbag malfunction. :)

Definitely worth it if you want back your articulation
These wear a great addition to my truck as I wheel it often but also do the occasional towing. Installing these gave me back my articulation when off road but still can air them up when it’s time to tow! Great product. I use them with my firestone air bags and fit perfect. Toyota Tundra 2010

Easy to Install - Prevents Damage to Air Springs if Off-road or Suspension Droops
I just finished installing Firestone Ride-Rite W217602407 ("2407") with Daystar cradles on my 2007 Tacoma 4WD TRD Access Cab truck. My truck also has an Icon Stage 4 suspension kit that includes their 51100 add-a-leaf spring pack. My factory helper springs were removed per Icon 51100 install instructions. The Icon add-a-leaf would typically add 1.5" of rear lift but my truck is outfitted for fieldwork/ camping and has a cab-high shell, ARB awning, Road Shower, custom wood deck, 150W solar panel, crossbars, 125 amp hour deep cycle battery and a Dometic CFX 65DZ fridge. All this junk took its toll on the Icon kit and the truck had a little sag, especially when fully loaded with water and other camping gear. Installation of the kit with cradles instantly restored the lifted ride height with the air springs at 5-8 PSI. The truck is headed out today for two weeks of Mojave Desert field work. I'll update this review if I have any issues with the cradles.If you are going to use your vehicle off-road, I recommend installing Daystar cradles so that the airbag does not act like a limiter strap, restrict downtravel and get damaged when the suspension droops. From what I read, it is not recommended to use airbag spacers and Daystar cradles together but you should confirm this for yourself.The bottom of the Daystar Cradle is 3/4" thick and does act like a small spacer, adding a little lift even with less than 10 psi in the air springs.When installing these cradles with the Firestone Ride-Rite air springs, the cradle will bolt onto the lower bracket that gets attached to the top of the axle with 4 carriage bolts holding two bracket straps under the leaf springs (see photos). Without the cradle, the air spring would be bolted directly to this lower bracket. Make sure the airbag is in good alignment before you tighten everything down. Firestone lists the torque spec for airs spring to lower bracket as 15 – 20 ft lbs, so I assumed it was the same for the cradle to the lower bracket.Please indicate if you found this review helpful!

Easy Install, must-have for full articulation if you have air bags
Super easy to install on my Tundra with Firestone bags. Remove the bolt holding bags to the bottom mount bracket, then used my floor jack under the receiver hitch to lift the rear end enough to get the bags off the axle with enough room to work installing the cradles. Left them slightly loose to check alignment before I tightened them down - raised and lowered the rear end a few times to be sure. They're high-density plastic, so they won't rust or corrode, and hopefully won't break. At least now my axle will have full articulation when needed - in my application, they added about 1/2 in of lift to the rear end. Next step on my rear end upgrade will be longer shackles and new shocks.

Exactly as described.
They are exactly as described. What more can i say? Super easy install. Lets the axle droop as far as your suspension allows and picks up the bag when loaded down.
