PureluxShower Arm 8 Inches Universal Replacement Made of Stainless Steel, Brushed Nickel Finish Flange Included

I worked as a plumber when young and still do plumbing work at home and for family. I've replaced many shower arms, and all of the replacements I've bought until now seemed rather cheap and thin walled to me. This heavy wall stainless steel shower arm is without a doubt the best I've ever seen and is the only one I plan to use going forward. Wish I had found it years ago.

Purely stainless steel is the way to go if you're looking for a STRONG and stable solution to the standard shower arm. I have about 8+ lbs hanging off the arm and it caused eventual and somewhat predictable failure in the prior brass version. This arm has a better looking collar and they include a beveled rubber washer which as it turns out stabilizes the arm in the wall cutout so it won't move during shower head selections/manipulations.

If you are planning on installing this onto the Moen Magnetix double shower head, do NOT get the 6" version of the shower head. I did and when I tried to tilt the showerhead, it would knock the handheld shower head right off the magnetic holder. I would imagine that if you were installing a large single shower head, you would need the 8" version to allow enough space. Definitely recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised to see how nice the quality was and how shiny the chrome finish was. It was heavy and much nicer than those priced several times as much. I was so happy I purchased another one in the same product line and it was equally beautiful. Our shower head screwed in smooth, and the length was perfect. I wish they carried more products. I would buy them! I'm super picky and this exceeded my expectations.

It was easy to install, came with teflon tape, is very heavy and solid, shiny, perfect fit. The flange that goes against the wall has a rubber seal that makes it fit tightly. Very impressed.

I bought a Purelux steel supply pipe to go with a well-known brand shower head that didn’t include one. Purelux also includes a flange and plumbers tape for the pipe threads. You may not need any tools at all.

Just got it last night and I installed it no problem with it seems very durable and made of good quality nice thanks just waiting for the other part i thought I was going to receive it at the same time but I gotta wait until tomorrow it's cool 2 days without a shower lol

Tiring of replacing flaking and rusting shower arms every year I'll find out if this lasts for you. It is heavier than others and well threaded making a hand tight wrenchless install easy. I liked it came with teflon so I didn't have to dig around the garage for a roll. I like that the flange has a rubber grommet which slides in place and holds securely. I took off a star only because the Q&A seller says the flange is metal, but mine is plastic. Nicely packaged with a pleasant 'thank you' note. The ad copy says this is the last one I'll ever have to buy, so be forewarned, seller. I'm beside the ocean with super crappy community cistern water to test your statement and if this one rots I'll be back, with pictures!

Cheap plastic. Didn't even try to install it.
