Epakitin - 50 gram

I started using the product because my cat, who has been diagnosed with stage 3 CRF, would not eat any of the brands of canned kidney diets that I tried. Rather than have her starve, I began adding this to her regular canned food (usually Friskies or Fancy Feast), and so far it seems to be working. The numbers can't be reversed with CRF, but after 6 mos. on this, she is holding her own and has not yet progressed to stage 4. It's impossible to judge just how much Epakitin has to do with this, but apparently it is tasteless, because she continues to have a good appetite even when this is mixed with her food. I have bought 3-4 of these bottles so far and will continue to do so as long as she eats well.

I give this to my yorkie in his KD canned food 2x a day and Azodyl once a day in the morning with a tiny bit of pet kelp and his levels have dropped so much that the Dr. is shocked at how well he is doing. I was told he was in complete kidney failure and that he wouldn't live very long in his condition but now he no longer needs fluids and is healthy and with great appetite it's been over a year :)

My VET recomnended I give this to my 17 year old cat for her kidney disease issues. It is a powder added and mixed into her wet food daily and she eats it with no issues.

Arrived quickly. Vet prescribed for my 10 year old Golden in renal failure, working well, and much cheaper on Amazon.

Since our 9 year old Rotti has been on this she is not going out to pee like she used to. Great stuff.

My little Ashlee has severe Kidney problems. This was recommended by my Vet along with plenty of water and presciption food. I truly believe this has helped keep her alive for 4 years!
