This screen protector is not clear. It appears that the protector doesn't make actual contact with the screen, but sits a fraction of a millimeter above it. It makes the screen more mirror-like, and makes the display harder to see. It also has a grid of dots that are visible in certain lights. It's glass, and smooth to the touch. That's about all it has going for it. I'm going to take it off as soon as I have a replacement from a different brand.Update 7/13/16 - There has been an abundance of dust, dirt, and even an eyelash that have made their way underneath this screen protector. It seems like this "protector" is just collecting crap and rubbing it against my screen. Awesome. Lowering my review from 2 stars to one.Update 8/17/16I received an apology from the seller, with a request to raise my review. They promised to improve the quality of their product. I believe the flaw is in the design, because of the curve of the upper portion of the screen on the phone. It would be difficult to make a perfect-fitting curved protector that had adhesive on the entire surface (placement world be really tricky), so companies either make a protector that doesn't cover the whole face of the phone, or they make one like this, that covers the whole face, but only has adhesive on the edges. Neither is perfect, but I like the feel and look of the former type better.

I always have preferred tempered glass screen protectors and, due to limited selection for the phone, I chose this one. The screen is very smooth and this screen protector can be rewashed and reapplied several times with no problems.However, I also found many issues with it. My main concern is that this screen protector seems to peel off very easily and I am unable to rub off any smudges or fingerprints without a cloth. This is annoying because I don't carry one with me and therefore my screen s often very gross with this. Also, the screen protector on the clear part for the screen has small squares. It is noticeable if looking at your phone when off in your hand, but not from afar, but it is still a flaw for me. Lastly, this is the only screen protector I've been unable to install without dust gathering underneath. I'm not sure why, but it seems to gather on the back of the screen protector no matter how careful I am to avoid it.

This is probably the most pathetic excuse for a screen protector. The adhesive is not strong. I applied pressure when I first installed the protector, to make sure there was solid contact all around. By the way, for those of you that want to know, there is only adhesive behind the small black strips of the screen protector. In any case, after an hour or so, I notice that the screen responsiveness has diminished. Especially when swiping down from the top of the screen. Lo and behold, the screen protector was popping off and the top portion of the screen protector had separated. I pressed down on the top strip of adhesive, but it kept popping off. I made sure everything was clean as instructed before applying the screen protector, but the adhesive would not hold. To make matters worse, when I tried to apply more moderate pressure to the screen protector, it cracked in the top left corner!!! Unbelievable! I don't know how this is supposed to happen. These things are supposed to be very durable. All I did was press on it! Luckily no damage was done to my actual phone screen. So I immediately ripped it off the phone. I want my money back. This is ridiculous and utterly pathetic.

When I purchased this item I really liked the idea that the screen protector went all the way to the top. However after using it I have decided that due to the curve in the screen at the top of the phone, a glass screen protector like that is impossible. I used it for a couple weeks before I couldn't stand it anymore. It never made full contact with the screen at the top. When I would press near the top, it would make a sticking noise like it was trying to restick to the phone. Also, there was always that "rainbow" section in the middle of my glass that obstructed my view. I had hoped this would go away after a day or two, but it never did. Finally, the screen slid down just a tiny bit after a little while because I use the Otterbox Symmetry with my phone and it pushes down on the protector. This caused the holes to no longer line up, which bugged me. I am very disappointed in the screen protector and would like a full refund. Instead I purchased the TechArmor one, it doesn't go all the way to the top, but like I said, I've decided that won't work with this phone design. It now fits perfectly with the Otterbox case on and doesn't touch the case on any of the four sides.

So far this has been a great screen protector and its one of the few the protects the whole piece of glass including the curved piece at the top. It is very smooth and scratch resistant, but there are a few things wrong. Lets start with the glare. This screen proctecto has a very bad glare. If I had to guess, I'd say its because it isn't actually stuck to the screen itself. Just the edges adhere to the screen leaving a tiny gap between the screen and the protector. This leads to the next little ding, the screen makes and audible tapping noise when typing and tapping on the screen because of that tiny gap. It may not be a problem for some but I find it rather annoying sometimes. So the the last con, its not a big deal and it doesn't bother me too much but its there. There is a very noticeable dot grid on the screen protector that can be seen quite easily in bright and sunny conditions. I don't notice it most of the time but it's there. Aside from those things, its a great screen protector. I probably won't replace it until I find another one that has the same protective covered as this one.Additional note:I've lowered my rating down another star because of the gap and adhesive. Because of the way the adhesive is only applied to the edges, dust and debris can actually get under the screen protector at the top through the camera and speaker holes. This has become apparent after only a week of having the protector, I'm probably going to end up replacing it as the dust will get worse and drive me crazy, its already annoying me.
