Other reviewers have discussed the problems with the illegible graphics, but the problem extends to the type face as well. On some pages, the text is badly smudged. It makes reading it analogous to deciphering an ancient text... The irony is that this is a fairly recent grimoire (from the German tradition).If you can spare the money, you would be better served by Joseph Peterson’s edition where corrected text and graphics are much clearer.Also the tables are in the wrong places, with no indication where they should be.As far as Grimoires go, this is less interesting than most, aimed at a more superstitious, less intellectual practioner than say, the Solomonic texts. Nor does it have the fasnitating cultural insights that say Cyprian the Sorcerers treasure. But it’s history and the meanings since attached to it, make it (even if unreadable) a talisman in its own right.

All of the various issues of this volume share the copy machine look when it comes to the printing of the various plates. This one is, as good as any I have seen.It is far superior to "The Sealed Magical Book of Moses" which actually leaves out much of the material of this text, inserts too much material that doesn't pertain to the historical material, and is printed in a single sided format, in a plastic report binder.
