Perfect for classroom use
I used these in my 7th grade science classroom when we discuss food webs. They are chock-full of small skulls and other bones so the students really enjoy them. Booklet with info and bone identifier charts are very useful, too. Have purchased multiple times and they deliver!

Comment on Size
Ive seen many reviews on here criticizing these for not being "large " enough. The description says they are each 1 and 1/2 inches at least. The pellets I recieved were all that size. They came in and envelop that contained a box. Inside the box was a plastic bag full of 15 owl pellets each wrapped in tin foil. As far as quality...they're owl pellets. Fur outside, bones inside. They were all exactly what i expected. Fun to dissect and dont deserve the bad reviews unless the other customers recieved something I didnt.

Lots of bones!
Lots of great bones and skulls! However, we did find a live maggot 😬 Kids loved what they found!

Great way for kids to engage in science during a summer camp. You can find the owl pellet sheet online for kids to figure out what animal bones are in the pellet. It keeps the interest of little kids for about an hour and older kids maybe half an hour.

NOT large at all! Rip off
For $63 I would definitely expect there to be 15 LARGE pellets. This was not the case. As you can see by the picture, there are probably 6-7 large pellets, then maybe 4 medium pellets and 4-5 small pellets. I bought and paid for 15 LARGE pellets so that I could break them in half for my class of 30 students. If I had wanted medium or small pellets then I would NOT have paid over $4 per pellet. Rip off! I did try to contact the company via the Amazon system to see if they would remedy the situation and they did not contact me at all to try to fix this. Very disappointed. Don't let them scam you too!

Small Pellets
They are owl pellets but they are very small. I was hoping for bigger. My students will still love them but a large skull will be hard to find in these.

Owls like voles... alot.
Was a great lab activity for the kids. They enjoyed picking out the bones and figuring out what they went to. Each was individually wrapped and shipped properly.

Inconsistent sizes.
Disappointing. Expected 15 large owl pellets for the price. Purchased for 3rd grade science class. All different sizes of owl pellets received. One I'd consider large, majority medium to small, and 4 are small. Hope can order from another company and get in time, otherwise some bummed out kids.
