You get what you pay for, yarn doesn’t last too long and the residue was left on the marimba. But for the price for what i needed it, perfect!

I honestly love these mallets, they’re soft enough that there’s hardly an audible strike, but you can definitely play loud if need be. The shafts are very solid, however that may be it’s only downside since there is hardly any flex in them. (They’re definitely strong enough to not break though)

Excellent value! not worth spending the money for a beginning band student when these will work just fine. Most likely will be lost or damaged before they wear out.

The handle is quite thin and broke when I accidentally hit the side of the drum with it. The head of the mallet is sturdy and produces a nice sound.

I bought these for my Band student. She loves them, holding up so far!
