Hard plastic but not brittle Water channels slowly fill up all ice compartments across the tray Lid slides on and off easily, even when frosty Lid allows stacking Size perfect for small freezer or small flat top shelf of large freezer Ice cubes (half disks, really) pop out easily Ice cubes (half moons?) large enough to keep drink cool for long / take a long time to melt
