Dave's Killer Bread - 21 Grains - 4 Loaves - USDA Organic

I am surprised at how delicious this bread is. I love the thickness and density of it. Having a couple slices for toast is very filling. I do not get hungry right away after eating it. I love it.

This is the best tasting bread we have eaten in years. Plan to make it a regular at our table.

Found this bread at Albertsons first, then Wal-Mart, and now Amazon. I live in a rural town, so good healthy options are hard to come by in a normal shopping situation. This bread tastes fantastic, is macro friendly, and works well with any combination of toppings. Not one of those dry "healthy" breads you need to slather in sauce to survive eating. This bread is an amazing find and worth a purchase.Though, honestly, unless you in a similar situation to me, I'd recommend saving your money because it's significantly cheaper in stores than even the best amazon deal I've seen.

I lived in Europe for almost eight years, so I've tasted--and paid attention--to a great variety of different breads. One of the conclusions I drew from that, is that the German breads are generally much more nutritious and filling than most of the other breads in the region. (Don't even try to interest me in the bleached-white "French Bread"). Anyway, because of the ingredients, the bread tends to have much more PROTEIN and nutritional value. One of the ways that you can verify this, is to notice that it takes much longer to TOAST this bread. After returning to the USA, I was frustrated in my search for some real bread. Finally, I began making my own, using organic, stone-ground, whole grain flour, sunflower seeds, etc., among other things. My bread-making machine made it very easy. However, then I retired....and got much busier, and didn't seem to have time to make my own. Then, along came Dave's Killer Bread! After hefting the very solid loaf, and tasting it the first time, I was sold, and have been eating it every since. Unfortunately, my local Von's market suddenly stopped carrying it! I tried a few others, with depressing results. Finally, I decided on something REVOLUTIONARY: to order it from Amazon! Although this sounds crazy--for almost FRESH food--it works very well! I order four loaves at a time, and they come nicely packed in a small box. Then, I put three of the loaves in the freezer, and one in the fridge, and begin feasting! One final benefit is the thought that I am helping someone who is going out of his way to try to help ex-cons get a new start, with honest work (read the label!). If you read this far...thank you!

Super bread but it's 2+ TIIMES more expensive here than at walmart or costco. Just sayin.

My product came thru the post office and I will use the bread but it was all smashed in thru the middle very unlike any other shipments I have received. Sad

I like the fact that no oil or additives are used to make this bread .
