Q: Are they sturdy enough?

I have 2 of them I use in my car. (I have 3 small-medium dogs) They appear very sturdy. I probably will order the single doggy seat belts from Amazon. My dogs seem to get tangled up when I use the double seat belt. Maybe it is just my dogs because they move so much when they are restrained with the double seat belt. This may not happen with other dogs.

Q: How well would this work for bucket seats

If your 2 dogs can sit comfortably on the bucket seat without the double seat belt, it should work when you restrain them with the seat belt. If the bucket seat is too small for both dogs and they move around a lot it won't work. Just my opinion. I have 3 small-medium dogs.

Q: Do the clips that adjust the length slide out of position easily or do they stay put?

The clips will stay put but my 2 dogs got tangled up when using this doggie seat belt. I returned it and got a different style that clips into the seat belt button.

Q: Will they be entangled?

NO. I use this for 2 puppy (7&10 pounds). The swivel connector worked beautifully in that they never got tangled.Excellent product so ordered another!
