This monitor arm is by Monoprice. I've used a fair few monitor arms. Generally people consider Ergotron as a premium and expensive option. The Amazonbasics one is considered the 'basic' ergotron - just as good as the Ergotron, if not the same, but less branding and less of a premium feel. Having used both, I tested out Monoprice as I was needing another monitor arm for a family member (ended up giving them mine) - and this was about half the price of the Amazon Basics one. Set up was easy enough, but the tension needed tightening a significant amount. The base swivel is particularly stiff, and only moves with a lot of force. Random side note - the box it came in was felt very premium!I rarely rotate my screen between vertical and horizontal orientation, but the monitor arm holds up the 27" monitor with ease and once in position, it's sturdy.The clamp that holds it onto the table feel sturdy too. I do worry that the base is quite small, and if you use it with a table that isn't solid wood of some sort it may damage it!TLDR: Similar feel and quality to the Amazon Basics monitor arm that many people online rate, but about half the price. Base is a bit stiff.

This arm is not good if you have a back wall and attaching via grommet. The arm can not swivel out without hitting the back wall. The arm looks to be good metal quality but the gas pressure is too strong despite loosening the screws. This arm could be good if you never need to tilt or swivel the monitor as the gas pressure arm is too stiff to easily raise and lower the monitor height.

Funciona excelente con un monitor de 34" que si es algo pesado, me funcionó muy bien. Me costó un poco la instalación hacerlo yo solo por el peso del monitor, pero ya que se hacen los ajustes, la base lo sostiene perfecto.Me funcionó muy bien para lo que quería, que es liberar la parte inferor del monitor en el escritorio y tener la libertad de moverlo fácilmente, sin problema alguno.
