Q: I want to put a brass plaque on it as a memento. What size would I order?

If you're looking at the sides or back of the base, the flat surface is about 4 1/2 inches wide by 1 1/4 inches high. The front is blocked by the paw. My measurements may be a hair too large, so take that into consideration too.

No, its more like a 5" x 5". I bought it as a gift and so I don't have the piece available. You will not be disappointed if you buy it.

Hi The item is made with resin therefore it is not light. It is very sturdy and does not require anything to prop it up. The item is well crafted as mentioned and is gorgeous. I guarantee you would have no buyer's regret :)
