If you are using Dante in your live sound/recording rig, then this device is a cheap way to input your sound from the network onto a pc. Short of using purpose built audio I/O, this device lets you duplicate a mix you are already sending out on the network. It also works as an access point for a pc into the dante realm. Seems to work better than the VIA program Audinate sells.

Cheapest and easiest way to get Dante connection at 1ms latency. Works with my iPhone and iPad using the usb adaptor from Apple... stays configured so your can swap devices very easily. Great for Dante enabled boardroom and studio for quick driverless plug and play action! On the downside, it's only 2 in 2 out but for the price, there is nothing like it!

Great adapter! Literally just plug it in and it works on everything. No sync issues. Powered from PoE or USB. Sturdy adapter. It's a bit big and bulky, but there's a ton of hardware crammed in there. The only thing I wish Audinate did differently is sell us the boards out of these adapters directly, to make it easier to integrate them into other projects. (A tablet or smartphone case, for example.)

I used this dongle to help me drive a laptop and a pair for powered speakers for a cancer fundraiser. The audio was exceptional. I couldn't have been more pleased.
