Good mid-range product, solidly built, threads lined up as expected. Looks great on my vintage lamp. Shipping took a little longer. If you need instructions they are not included.

I used this, along with a cloth covered spt2 cord, to wire a ceramic lamp base I made.Pros - MUCH higher quality than what the typical lamp kit included. It is genuinely nice metal and does not feel cheap.Cautions - it was just a mm or so too wide to slip an uno lampshade over. I got it to work by sanding the screw threads, but that was a pain. There are plenty of other lamp shade options though, I just wish I have realized this when shade shopping. Also note that the SPT2 cord worked just fine, but getting the underwriters knot tied and crammed in the available space would have been a lot easier with SPT1 cord. It still worked though!

I rarely leave feedback on Amazon but I was so impressed with this socket. For instance, to attach the wires to the terminals, there was none of that "press here" business on the side of the socket which tends to slightly bend the socket out of round making it hard to fit into the base again. Instead, for this product the socket just unscrews from the base. The whole socket is way less tinny that the common hardware store variety. Well worth the extra couple dollars for less aggravation.

Just what I was looking for. Well built. Solid brass, strong and works well. Will probably order more for some other lamps.

This fixture was purchased to upgrade a 50-year-old lamp. The mount was a different size than the current standard, so I had to do some finagling to make it fit. It was worth the trouble, but it would have been nice to have an adapter to interface with older lamps and different gender fittings.The switch is good quality and works well. It also looks good.

I went with this option because it was Solid machined brass vs pressed sheeting. It’s a heavy, quality piece - honestly impressed by value. Looks great, and was easy to install and adjust the fit. Was able to get the patina to match the antique piece I was refurbishing. Performance is excellent. Switch is sturdy as well.

Solid brass well engineered and highly decorative bulb socket. I use these for my steam punk lighting projects. They are very reliable too.
