I couldn't be happier with this carrier for my cats. I bought one for each cat, they are standard size 8 lb tabbies and although they cannot stand up in the carrier they were able to move around and lay down comfortably. I think the carrier made them feel safe and secure with it being a tighter space but still open with the 360 degree views from the holes in the sides and mesh on top. I purchased these for short trips to the vet only. The adjustable strap with pad was great and the size allowed the carrier to stay balanced with the cats in them. The top being mesh allowed me to gently press down on the cats without hurting them as I zipped the carrier closed. Absolutely no complaints.

i like this brand, but would recommend the black version which is taller. My smaller cat still had issues with the height of this bag, though for laying down this one is better. depends on your cat!! mind like to stand, but if you have a lounger this bag could be the one. easy to use and good for storage.

This was too short... Maybe a kitten would be better suited for this.

Although it served it's purpose to some degree, I will not buy another one due to the material used. I bought it for my toy 8.5 lb. poodle I flew United Airlines and never had an issue about the size of the carrier.Negative: This carrier is not very deep. My dog's head was all cramped down in his normal standing position.The only opening was at the top, so there was no way to calm him down while under the seat. The material is not very strong. Don't try to move the carrier by sticking your fingers into the holes on the side; it tears very easily. When I tried to move the carrier underneath the seat I tore it.Positive: Although the carrier is not very high, I was able to turn the carrier on it's side with the opening facing me. He could sit and stand and with a little bit of effort turn around, and it still fit underneath the seat. Due to all the breathing holes I never worried about the dog not getting enough air. I did not pay a lot for it, and it served its purpose. Nobody knew he was in there until his head popped out. It looks like a cosmetic bag. It is lightweight, but for me it was awkward to carry while rushing to the next gate. Maybe if you stroll in and out of the vet's office this will be perfect.

This case is fabulous! It fits perfectly under a airplane seat, and was a great size for my kitten. I had to wash the entire case after our trip and it came out perfectly clean (air dry). It's nice and sturdy and allows for 360º view for your pet.

Here's the thing: pet carriers that work for airplanes are slim to none. With that in mind, this looks nice. Yes, the mesh it thin, but my boys like to move around so it will be nice that it stretches some. I have no worry that it will rip though. The holes on the sides are great! The best feature though is really the top zipper. Since they have to be under the seat most of the ride, it's nice to be able to unzip just a little to stick my hand through to give their little head a pets. I'm also a fan of it being stiffer on the outside, less likely they will get hurt.

Fits for Alaskan Airlines and others that require shorter carriers. I took the advice of another reviewer and used a trash bag tie to secure the top zipper. My cat did not attempt to escape from the other two zippers just the secured top one. Cheap easy lock added. The only reason it did not get 5 stars and I lean toward 3 a bit is that it's strap is secured from the top above two zippers that go fully round the carrier. My cat is just above 10 lbs., between 10 & 11 lbs. I worried and tried to carry this not just from the shoulder, but around the bottom from worry, but it seemed to work fine. I just wish the strap was sewn from completely around the base. It's the best option I believe for small plane flights and the sides have a nice padding to them.

Love it, great carrier for small dogs, and my Biewer girl RubyBlue loves using it. Great for travel, plane or car, even on a bus. All around excellent buy. I would recommend it and buy it again!

Attractive carrier and folds up very well for storage. There are 2 issues:1. Unless your puppy is really good about lying down when you put him/her in a carrier, zipping up the top can be a bit of a struggle.2. The ad says there are special security clasps to keep the zippers zipped up. That's incorrect. There are no clasps, just regular zippers.
