Zoom GCE-3n, a fully functional floor unit for performing vs recording musicians is needed
Does everything I need for Garageband and Mainstage via USB and Guitar LabZoom GCE-3n?Since the GCE-3 is general purpose and emulates all the dedicated hardware pedals from Zoom, I'm guessing that Zoom's next hardware product will use Guitar Lab to download what you can create and record with on your GCE-3 into a gig-ready ruggedized pedal ... combining all the acoustic and electric effects, amps, cabs, IRs, etc.And it would be appropriately named, Zoom GCE-3n, the full-sized hardware pedal version of the Zoom GZE-3?Or maybe that is achievable with today's Zoom G3n with just a simple software update?

It is not a processor, it is an audio interface for electric guitars
I'm satisfied. Nice device for recording your guitar playing. Not meant for stage concerts because it is not a processor.

Don’t bother
Just a toy, brutal really a few decent sounds but I wouldn’t waste my money.

Good to great FX but flakey ports
I needed a compact USB audio interface for use with Ableton Live on two different computers:1. Dell G5 Ryzen 7 - Windows 102. 14" MacBook Pro M2 - OSX 13Two different experiences with each laptop and lastly a build issue.1. With the Dell, installed drivers just fine & software installs fine but struggles to find the connected interface. It takes several tries but once it finds it you can adjust FX parameters. All necessary parameters are here including how to bypass the Zoom FX to record a dry signal. Cannot adjust the FX without launching the editing software first. Dial in your FX, exit editing software, launch DAW and record. If you need to record a dry signal just bypass FX and add FX to your tracks in the DAW later. Defeats purpose of having FX through the device but wanted to point it out. Monitoring a dry signal requires this.Every DAW used (Live, Reaper, Cakewalk) recognized the Zoom interface which tells me the driver is solidly coded. Manual switch to Zoom interface is required in each DAW. Recording is fine. No issues recording. No clock issues and no latency issues. Playback however has issues but this is due to the Dell's Ryzen 7 processor and not Zoom audio interface.2. MacBook Tests: Encountered no issues with software/driver install on MacBook. Zoom software and both Reaper and Ableton Live recognize device however you have to ensure you manually change the device in audio preferences for each DAW. Connecting interface does not auto configure the audio interface in each DAW. Make sure to have the right cable and cable adapter as this is a USB-C interface.Since purchasing, have not utilized interface for recording often. Just two tests to ensure on two different PCs to ensure functionality. Mostly use this interface to monitor audio playback in DAW software on different laptops and the product functions as desired/expected.Problem: The connectors are loose after plugging in and unplugging audio cables. The 1/8th headphone jack is now useless. Most likely the solder have broken or connectors inside unit are loose. This will require taking apart the interface and respldering or repairing brokenconnections. If you are going to leave cables connected on your desk and will not plug/unplug frequently then this will not be an issue. Gigging musicians however will eventually encounter issues as the connectors will eventually fail. Look elsewhere for a mobile recoeding interface.
