Authentic Mini Chess Set
This tiny chess set is brilliant. The pieces are made of lightweight wood, with a green felt material underneath. Since they are hand made, they have a feeling and appearance of authenticity and class.The pieces are stored inside the foldable wooden board (as pictured) which is also made of wood. I love that this is a portable wood chess set, unlike the majority of other special types of sets that are always too big. The small size is ideal for travel or even for simply going to meet a friend to play the game.The set is non-magnetic which in my opinion adds more to its uniqueness, since there are not many chess sets sold without magnets. I personally prefer chess without magnets.I highly recommend this chess set, it's a nice little set that can be enjoyed by chess players of all ages, and it would especially make for a great gift idea!

Perfect for travel or beginners
I wanted to learn the game of chess but did not want to spend a lot of money. This magnetic set is perfect to teach yourself the game of chess. Perfect for travel. It does not lay perfectly flat, but who cares? It's flat enough and the magnetic feature keeps your pieces in place. Cute and portable!
