Works perfectly and delivers sound volume and quality way better than expected. I'm in a dance troupe and used this for practice/rehearsal sessions because in-house sound systems may be difficult to use, restricted, have technical problems, or non-existent. We never know where we might be practicing. The unit delivers plenty of volume for a group rehearsal anywhere we practiced, with only 1/2 volume (iPhone was turned up all the way). It fits in my dance shoe carrying case! I've started taking it with me on hikes with a hiking friend. We can have music when we stop for a picnic in some remote place without fussing with earphones. When I researched wireless speakers, this was listed in the top ten. In fact, it was rated as the best of those ten and lives up to its rating!

Best waterproof speaker for the price, great sound, great battery, have only had it in light showers so I can’t speak to the full waterproof ability, but it’s been outside for several hours while it rains and there has never been any issue with sound or battery quality.

I really enjoy using this speaker a lot. It is load and has good bass. There is this app in which you can control the bass and other cool things. It last a long time at full volume and it is very durable. I’ve dropped it atleast 4 times and it got submerged in water and till this date it is working. This is a great investment to make.

I have this exact speaker and love it so ordered this one for my husband for Christmas. Opened it up today and connected to his phone and the speaker sounds busted! Unfortunately, since I got it 2 mo ago, it was not within the return period (bought early for Christmas). Since Amazon is AMAZING, they honored the return and issued a Gift card credit. Excellent service Amazon. Plan to re-order same speaker.

Although I read some bad reviews, I still purchased a refurbished UE Boom 2 speaker. It was exactly as described. looked brand new, and works great. For the size, it puts out pretty decent volume with out losing sound quality. definitely would buy again.Side note: I would go ahead and spend another $10 and buy the travel case for it. The one I purchased also had room for the charger, and fit like a glove.

New to Bluetooth speakers, 50+ years old. Simple to use the app on phone, loud enough and good sound quality for general household. The volume and quality are not like sterios of years ago, but then neither am I.

I love these speakers I take them floating all of the time. I had one but it got stollen so as soon as I could afford it I bought two more. That way I can play them at the SAME TIME! Also I can play music and entertain my daughter she takes it everywhere if it is playing music and she can literally do anything to it and it won’t break these are so durable I throw it without Care anywhere my first one (stolen) lived through a lot of dangerous things

Bluetooth connected quick and easy, but after turning off the speaker, I needed to turn my phone's bluetooth off and back on to repair. Both the hand gesture and MIC did not work. Tested the hand gestures to stop/play and skip songs, but no response. MIC did not work at all. So, if you are looking for more than a basic speaker, getting one with features that work is not guaranteed although it was certified. I also have to question if the battery will be reliable (if it is old, it won't last).Very sadly this really means that the CERTIFIED REFURBISHED just mean repackage and pass along problems with a small discount.The device was in very good condition on the outside and sounded fine.
