Very good, it helped me a lot.

I bought the kindle version of this book a few months ago. It's not the end-all be-all of study guides, but it is a good resource.However, around location 2389 of 15343, there is a strange diagram which makes no sense. The chapter is about RMAN, and while the diagram is supposed to be an example of retention policy configuration, the picture has a screenshot of some java code that isn't related to RMAN or Oracle database.

I was really excited when the product arrived, but as I opened it, I got really disappointed. It looks like its some sort of photocopy of the original book. I have other Oracle books that I purchased and this is the only one with a really below average quality.Its readable, though. Uufortunately Ill have to find another seller to get my books from now on because I cant trust to pay what I paid and be presented with that low product quality. Really disappointed.

... aber das Buch kann ich trotzdem nicht so wirklich empfehlen.Positiv:* leicht verständlich geschrieben* Zusammenfassung am Ende jedes Kapitels (Two-Minute-Drill)* Testfragen am Ende jedes Kapitels* die Themen/Kapitel sind prüfungsrelevantNegativ:* es werden Einzelheiten im Kapitel angesprochen und in den Testfragen am Ende des Kapitels dazu Fragen gestellt; die laut Lösung richtige Antwort dazu ist jedoch nicht das, was im Kapitel als richtig beschrieben wurde* es werden die Begriffe ASM, AMM, ASMM, ASSM gern mal durcheinander gehauen* die Testfragen scheinen veraltet zu sein, zumindest haben sie nicht viel mit dem zu tun, was in der Prüfung gefragt wird, weder von der Art und Weise der Fragestellung, noch von den Tiefe, in die die Prüfungsfragen gehenWie soll man mit einem Buch lernen, in dem man Fehler findet, die offensichtlich sind (vertauschte Begriffe, die nichts miteinander zu tun haben -> ASM und AMM; falsche "richtige" Antworten)? Woher soll man da wissen, was noch richtig ist? Man bekommt mit dem Buch eine gute Übersicht über das, was zu lernen ist. Man sollte aber zumindest ergänzend die Oracle-Dokumentation lesen. Ich habe es jedenfalls getan.

When you need to prepare an Oracle exam, you need to buy one of the oracle book.I think this one is good for exams preparation.This kind of book are not indicate if you would like to learn how to become a DBA!!

I used this book like my start reference for preparing the exam certification but I need to complement this book with the Oracle reference for covering in detail all the exam topics.Don't expect that one book is enough for preparing the exam.

Libro fatto davvero bene. Pecccato però che l'esame verrà eliminato dalla Oracle il 31 dic. 2019.

Un libro che completa per bene lo studio dell'amministrazione ORacle 11g.Tutto è spiegato per bene con dovizia di esempi e casi reali.
