I want to add a tassel does anyone know what size the hole it its or what size jump ring to use?

The holes are plenty big for tassels. No jump ring required.

I ordered these a while ago and am just getting around to making them. The hole is so small that a small needle will not even fit through..solution?

I used a very small sharp tipped file to open the hole up.

Does anyone know if the 3 chevrons embossed on these symbolize anything? If so, what?

When looking at images of feathers you see some have markings that resemble the chevrons on these feathers. I believe they are just a design to lend to that on real feathers. I can find no special meaning attached to this in my searches.

Will they slide out because they are made of metal?

Sometimes they will if you don't jam them into the crease in the middle!
