The Fuzz are gone!!!!!
Perfect for our old Panasonic unit that we have had 20+ years. I noticed an immediate improvement in reception as soon as I attached it. The enclosed adaptor works like a charm. The longer antenna cable allows me to move the antenna to a different location if The Fuzz ever returns but I have not had to do that. Looks pretty nice where we have it and the antenna has a nice secure base so it won't fall over. A lot better than that cheesy antenna the receiver came with, which has been placed in our electronics recycling bin. Reasonably priced too.

Worked good
I got much better reception with this on my vintage 70s stereo using the included adapter for old style FM connections. Reception was spotty with the wire I had been using. I didn't expect much but took a chance. You do have to move it around. Placing it on the sill of a nearby window worked best for me. I deducted one star for poor base design. The wire coming out the bottom near the very small base protrudes down causing it to topple over. We got around that by putting on 4 small furniture protective pads. Perhaps the manufacturer could do something like that or better yet redesign the base. Not a deal breaker. Worked well for us.

What a great little antenna
This is a great little antenna. I was using some RCA rabbit ears I purchased, and thy worked OK. But not great. And they looked terrible. This pulls in a few more stations, comes with an adaptor, which makes it easy to hook to my Old Marantz receiver. It has never sounded better. Plus I can hang it on the wall and it looks modern and is small. No interference at all and my favorite station FM talk and is low powered. Some don't like this, but it's Omni directional and works great for me. I would give it a try, I think you will like it.

When is a stand not a stand? (Is meaning in the signifying word or in the functionality of the signified?)
Good packaging, literature, versatility: two types of connectors, a provision for hanging it on the wall or standing it on its base. But there's the rub. The antenna is so small and lightweight that it has difficulty standing up despite the thoughtful inclusion of a "metallic-looking" base. Moreover, not only is the antenna wire of sufficient weight to pull over the stand but it's attached to the antenna (the flat plastic square) at a spot that practically assures the wire will touch a flat surface before the base does. Result: an antenna insufficiently weighted to withstand the vibrations of a walking person or the windstorm of a stationary breathing one. Otherwise, the little piece is rather compact and stylish. It works better than no antenna and seems capable of at least equalling the signal strength of a "T wire" antenna. I can just see the calculations of the maker: "Let's see. If we make the base one ounce heavier, the weight of a carton of these things will be another hundred pounds, and our shipping costs (from China) will make it cost-prohibitive to sell the item for what it's worth." And to think that just a couple of years ago I was complaining about all of those dead-weight, clunky power-adapters that could easily serve as boat anchors.

Broadcast from aFar
I read the reviews that were mixed, but I figured for $12.00, it wouldn't hurt to try this non-amplified antenna. I am totally impressed with this square box that I would buy it over again 5 times as well as give it as gifts! Setting it up was as simple as cracking an egg. As soon as I plugged it in, powered up my receiver, switched it to "Tuner," there was an immediate difference in reception!! The small footprint square box antenna has a small bass movable stand that twists. I put it on top of my stereo cabinet. I live in a mobile home surrounded by several other mobile homes, so....lots of metal. This antenna works like a charm! I'm getting radio stations that I haven't been able to receive in some time. I'm so glad I gave this antenna a try- you should too!

Good antenna all you need is luck
Writing a fair review about an FM antenna for the consideration of many others with very different equipment, geographic location and reception issues is next to impossible. Simply because what works for some will be anathema to others. Issues such as geographic location, tuner sensitivity, signal to noise ratio, and spurious noise rejection will vary from user to user and the results obtained will be vastly different. I purchased this antenna from Amazon with little expectations and the results I obtained are very satisfactory. It replaces another old Terk antenna which gave good service for 20 years. I use a McIntosh MR 80, tuner and the FM transmitter master antenna is no more than thirty miles from my home. For some of you this antenna will never work, because in reality some of you will need a multi element yagi mounted on the roof with a rotor. For others it will be fine and for the majority is a matter of luck and patience, . But I say to you buy the antenna. It is very inexpensive, well made and for many will be all you need. A small amount of cash and patience will be well spent.

コンパクトで扱い安いですね ただスタンドにするとコ-ドが邪魔です もう少し感度が上がれば良いですね

We went from a stereo that tuned in a big fat zero stations to having a stereo with an almost endless choice of stations. Super easy to install and everything comes in super clear. I highly recommend it.

Tried various options to enhance FM signal for my internal home theatre. So far, among antennas, and even signal booster, this is the best.
