The Three Musketeers Soundtrack

Michal Kamen's score for "The Three Musketeers" is reminiscent of the one he wrote for "Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves" - rich, full, with catchy melodies and lots of energy. This is, unfortunately, a short sample of the score - unlike many soundtrack albums now, this one does not cover the entire film. Rather, each track covers a specific scene in the film and conveys a particular mood. Still, it's well worth finding a copy of this - I had wanted one for years before I bought it, and you get more than enough music to mentally take you away on some of the Three Musketeers' adventures.

The Three Musketeers has been one of my favorite movies that I have been watching since I was a child. Yet I wonder how successful the movie would have been without this amazing music. Michael Kamen knows how to perfectly capture the heroism of D'Artagnan and the fellow musketeers. The themes are memorable, and the way he is able to tie in the music to the theme song, "All for One", is very satisfying. In an era of non-thematic and blasé movie scores, Kamen shows what is possible using a large orchestra and beautiful themes while encapsulating the drama on screen.

Like most Older scores it is too short, but it is still worth listening to. Now the scores are better, have more content, but still, far too many are Out OF Sequence and an avid and educated listener like me picks up on it right away. This one is fine... nice, but not great.

This is one of my families favorite sound track. We are very pleased with it. My granddaughter wanted it for Christmas I had to go through a 3rd party to get it but it was well worth it

I had this CD a long time ago and have lost rack of it.....had to have it again. The sound is fantastic.

good soundtrack and great movie

This is a great soundtrack I haven't stopped playing it since it arrived my family are now sick of hearing it. If you liked the film then get this soundtrack and you can relive the movie in your head.

Zwar nicht für vorgesehenen Gebrauch verwendbar, aber trotzdem schöne CD.Habe den Kauf trotzdem nicht bereut und die CD deshalb auch behalten.

this movie have a great music and some great perfomance of three very good singers

The score is much, much better than film. And, as an extra treat, you get the mega hit "All For Love" by the very blonde and testosterone fuelled trio of Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart and Sting.
