I looked all over the internet for a soft, durable, economically priced product. This product is soft and humane. I use it for when my dog is around other dogs. I adopted my dog recently and I am / was unsure how he is with other animals. This works great for temporary, short term use. I would recommend this product for others to purchase. Please note that I did NOT receive this product at a discounted rate. I paid full price for this product. This is my honest review. Please let me know how I did by voting "yes."

Works as designed for an 8 lb Chihuahua, just for doing nails. Size 1

We got this because sometimes our rescue pup gets a little antsy and nippy - he had an ear issue and we needed to clean the injury, but he wouldn't let us near it without trying to bite. So we got the muzzle, measuring his snout and following the size guide.Pros: it seems fairly comfortable for a muzzle (at least for the short periods we needed it for, which was only like 3 minutes at a time to clean the ear) and it's easy to use.Cons: it didn't really fit - it was too big (following the size guide) so he can slide his nose out, which doesn't make it useful. But we can't return it or exchange it for another size, which means we're stuck with a muzzle that doesn't really work. I may try to alter it by hand, since I might as well, but I wish it had followed the size guide better.

The size guide that you see in the pictures of the product is not the same size guide that is given with the product. I measured the snout being 9in and based on the guide in the pictures it should've picked a size 1. But totally wrong!

The size zero really is 4.5 inches, but it comes with a massive plastic buckle that hogs all the space on the back of the dog's head. This is both uncomfortable and clunky - not to mention that the fabric of the muzzle itself is stiff and doesn't breathe. I know muzzles aren't meant to be worn for a long time, but this seemsnlike it's not meant to be on for 5 min even.I have bought from this brand before and inmy experience there is very poor sizing control. The size 1 was way too large for my dog, while the 0 is too small. According to the description the 1 is a 5 inch muzzle, it clearly wasn't as it flopped around on her face, and the 0 doesn't even go over her nose. One of the two should have fit her. Even if the brand ran large the 0 should have.

We have a foster chihuahua and she has been dealt a rough life through neglect and lack of socialization. I’ve never had to muzzle a dog my entire life, but for her safety and her veterinarian we decided to go this route.Al in all, I was really happy with the fit, she is a size 0 for reference and 7 lbs. The large clasp was easy to snap on and off without hurting her or taking too long to get off.Though she tried, she wasn’t able to get it off by herself and the adjustment straps on the back were easy to tighten up.

I measured and thought the size 3 would work on our pitt/lab mix. Harley is 4.5 mo old. The muzzle apoeared like it was too small. It's easy to put on, but I needed to get a bIgger size.

My dog is very anxious and can try to bite when he feels like he's under attack. I introduced this to him with some kibble and blueberries in my hand while placing it on him. I slowly adjusted the clip until he could no longer pull it off with his paws.He really doesn't like it, but it protects us when we clip his nails and take him to the vet for his shots.I think the size I got for him is a little large on him but it made of a great material and I believe will last a longtime.My dog is a 14lb terrier and we got a size 2.

Disappointed with this for the price, it’s cheap quality and I can tell the plastic buckle thing with snap real soon. Basically £1 quality and won’t last long.

The muzzle fitted well,bought to try to stop my dog from nipping at other dogs .He did not like wearing it but only put it on him to deter him from attacking other dogs.Some improvement in behaviour.Will never be perfect.The picture of chihuahua is exactly like my dog

Good quality, but nothing exceptional - could have bought same from UK supplier much cheaper. I thought as this was dearer it would be better somehow, but no, just coming from US supplier

The muzzle I received wasn't very well made at all. And I was disappointed by this. My boy opened his mouth to bark and the muzzle came right undone. Not very impressed to be honest.

Ordered this on Wednesday afternoon, delivered the next morning, it came well packaged. I bought this for my elderly dog who keeps growling at my 19month old granddaughter, I just can't take the risk of the dog snapping at her, the muzzle doesn't bother her at all, the dog can still drink from her bowl while she's wearing it. Highly recommended.
