Childhood nostalgia: awful but fun toy!
I bought this toy as a gift for my partner after a conversation about favourite childhood toys. It turned out he has never had a mr frosty so I surprised him with one.All the pieces as shown in the image and description were provided in the box. We made ice cubes in fruit shapes and small ice lollies. We quickly realised how awful and flimsy the toy actually is. And how it requires what feels like a days labour to turn the handle to shred the ice, how could a small child do that?! Our parents must have done it in the past.Needless to say we all had a laugh and a joke and enjoyed our tiny pile of ice shards. I think in future we will stick to the blender for ice drinks!

Needs a lot of ice, but a fun toy
I'd always assumed that one fill of the top section with ice would fill the drawer- not so, you need a LOT of ice to make the piles of ice you see on the adverts! Make sure you're prepared with a bag in the freezer, and note that mummy or daddy will most likely need to help turn the handle, even for quite strong kids; it requires a fair bit of strength, and confidence that you're not going to break the fairly flimsy-feeling handle. A child is likely to get bored of the process before they've crushed enough ice to enjoy a treat. That said, it's a kid's toy, so about the quality you'd expect, it's not a professional grade ice-crusher and it doesn't claim to be. A nice present for a 5 year old that fulfilled my own childhood desire to own a Mr Frosty!

Poor quality
This is very poor quality and so hard to grind the small ice cubes. Adults find it difficult to move the grinding handle, so no chance for my 8 year to do it. Don't waste your money.

Product fine packaging terrible
I received this item the next day from ordering which is great, however the item was not placed into packaging, this meant all the delivery stickers when on the box itself. This would be fine if they weren't placed on the front. When I tried to peel the 3 delivery stickers it has removed the design on the box. This present is for a child so now they wont be able to see what's inside the box and presentation looks awful I am going to be embarrassed to give this as a present.

Crushed expectations!
Ok so I never had one of these as a child but really wanted one! So getting one for my boys I thought would be a fun activity and fulfil a childhood wish! But rather than crushed ice I now have a crushed dream! Either I am doing something completely wrong or possibly this one is malfunctioning but to get any decent amount of crushed ice ( as shown in the advertising images ) you would have to be turning the handle for an hour! Then the only thing left is a puddle. Tonight I got my electric grater out in order to make enough crushed ice for the boys and I to enjoy a little frosty fun. My advice don't waste your money.
