Q: What are the manufacturer's laundering recommendations? ie: machine wash cold? delicate cycle? tumble dry low? or other??

Summary of their washing instructions from their website: -Use laundry detergent (no bleach or fabric softener) -Wash regular cycle (warm water) -Dry on medium heat They restate: Do NOT USE bleach or fabric softener, it affects the absorbency! For Stains: -Use Dawn dish soap to spot treat areas with lingering stains before washing. For odor: -Use white vinegar (mix with detergent or use in bleach dispenser). -Baking Soda -Oxyclean like products (as long as it’s without fabric softener)

Q: For those who have both chocolate and slate, which color wears better after continued use, washing etc? Thanks!

I purchased the slate. I wash it at least once a week. After several months, it still looks like new. Hope this helps.

Q: How easy does dog hair come off the blanket? I dont like to throw blankets with hair in the washing machine and my dog sheds a lot:(

If it is tucked in (how i have mine on the couch) you can vacuum it. I’ve done that a few times. My dogs have short hair so I have just thrown mine in the washer.

Q: Why did my pet blanket arrive "wet"? It was vacuumed sealed but when I opened the bag there was an intense odor and the blanket was wet.

I wish I knew this answer. Mine arrived in perfect condition and my cat took to it immediately.
