Roll is very small
Picture in my opinion is deceiving. This roll is TINY. In the pic the Gorilla baby is on the left. To the right is a man size roll of tape. For some people this might be acceptable if you just need it for a one-time-only usage.

Premium price, average performance
I was originally impressed with the thickness and sturdy feel of this tape, but performance seems to vary wildly under different conditions. Exposure to extreme sun and heat seems to “re-melt” the adhesive backing, and then the tape separates away from whatever it was stuck to. This didn't happen in every case though, so I think it might be dependent on what the surface was (plastic, wood, metal, etc.).The Gorilla brand has a reputation for quality, but with both the blues and tapes I have found they're not universally much better than similar products.

Beware! Not as good as the black gorilla tape !!
Are use gorilla tape all the time. I’ve always use the black one. I ordered the white one ,because I was working on a screen door project and the white would be less visible. Are used it also on another project. What I found was the white is nowhere near as strong or as sticky as the black. I know it’s just the color difference, but there must be some kind of difference in the way it is made. As soon as I unwrapped it and went to pull off the first piece and the tape split in half . It tore down the center. Leaving me with two thinner strips. I cut that off and tried again it’s just not the same. Love my gorilla tape but only in black . I wouldn’t order the white again ! stick with the black. it’s strong, heavy, sticky and does the job. I was kind of surprised that just a difference in color, actually changed the way the product performs! live and learn.

Forget about “Duck Tape” or “duct tape”. Gorilla Tape is what you really want!!
Best heavy duty tape on the market. You never get more than what you pay for.Why do people call it both duck tape and duct tape? It’s actually made of coated duck fabric with adhesive on one side. (Google duck fabric for yourself.) So for many years, people naturally called it duck tape. Then along came a sneaky company in the 80s who noticed they could copyright the term “duck tape”. So now, technically, only Duck brand can legally call their product duck tape. But if you want the best heavy duty tape, buy Gorilla Tape, not Duck Tape. As for those people who want to call it duct tape, it’s a whole lot easier to say Gorilla Tape, and that’s the only brand worth buying anyway!!

Highly Recommended!
Used this to reduce the dent in my free car because I don't want a car payment yet. It works and doesn't look like my dad wrecked it a few times falling asleep at the wheel, he's alive, but the car became a hot mess......the duct tape makes it look like just a mess.....As far as weatherproof, yes, it does work. I live in Florida, which becomes a swamp torture for 4 months out the year, no, 6 months, lets be real. It's gone through weeks worth of storms and 100+ degree heat and it still stays intact. So if your parent wrecks a car and offers it free to you, take it and use this tape and be cool like me.

Super strong white tape *photos included in review*
Whoa. This is strong tape. See photos with this review comparing this white Gorilla tape to the white 3M duct tape. A few things to note: the Gorilla tape is white on outside and grey on sticky side, 3M is white on both sides. Gorilla tape is not see through at all and 3M tape is somewhat see through. In photos I am trying to cover up the words "weather tech" on the box and the rolls of tape correspond to the tape location on the box so you can see the top of the letters where the 3M tape is and you cannot see the bottom of the letters where the Gorilla tape is.Again, this is seriously strong tape. Unfortunately it was stronger than me and I couldn't get the roll started without needle nose pliers to pull it up. And there is no chance I could rip it with my hands. I definitely required scissors or knife to cut this tape. Maybe just me but that made it difficult to work with. Not knocking any stars bc I think that means it will be much more durable tape. Just depends on your needs if that's a pro or a con. Hope this helps.

Not good adhesion, comes off easily
Used it to try taping a torn seam on my snowboard bag and it doesn't adhere well. Peels off easily and there's no pressure on that seam, it's mostly esthetic.Regular duct tape would have worked better, for a lower price.Only thing I liked was it was easy to tear off a strip on the roll. I guess it's no surprise that it doesn't work that well then since it's easily torn. Not worth it.

Gorilla Duct Tape
I bought this tape to seal out water that is leaking on the roof of my rubbermaid shed. It leaks in one spot. This product did NOT work. I have put many applications, over the 2 months, and it still does NOT stick like it says it will. I have tried so many times, and it still, won't stick like it should. I recommend NOT putting on anything outside, as it will not stick completely to the roof. I have resorted to putting a tarp over it, and that is working great!

Incredible adhesive!
An American product. I don't know what it is that they don't put in glue in the UK, but there's something missing, because this stuff is AMAZING! I have used countless rolls of gaffer tape and the like and not one single roll has the adhesive quality that this does. Its fantastic. I've only put three stars for weatherproof and water resistance because I've only just used it, so I will have to wait and see. But so far - terrific.

Does the trick....for sure!
No, I'm not trying it on water leaks or the bottom of a boat! but I've used it on a few different little jobs that I tried to use other tape with not much success. This one works so well....and the amazing thing is you can tear it with your fingers if you want.

Great Tape
This tape is fantastic. I purchased to secure a sheet of drywall in a window for an air conditioner unit and it held through the summer. Easy to use, easy to apply.
