not always compatable
Why did you pick this product vs others?: The extra very small circuit board add on provided to make it work with a 24v gate did not work correctly even though I followed the wiring instructions. i have a topens automatic gate A5 so a very standard brand. In order to get it to work I had to buy a step down converter from 24v to 12v and but it in line between the control box and the gate lock.

Don’t buy from this seller!
Worked great for 2 months. Then came apart on the inside. Contacted seller and they will not replace nor do they care! Definitely do not recommend.
