Hi Awnyerneas, Thank you for your question. We are happy to answer your question in detail: 1. Obtain sustainable palm kernel oil and coconut oil rich in C8 and C10 fatty acids, and also C12 and other long chain fatty acids2. Using heat and pressure, split the fatty acids from the glycerol backbone, to form fatty acids and glycerol (glycerin).3. Using steam distillation and/or fractionation techniques (no solvents), isolate the C8 fatty acid fraction (or cut).4. Purify the glycerin fraction using standard distillation and non-solvent techniques5. Under heat and pressure, re-esterify the C8 fraction back onto glycerol backbones to from C8 MCT.6. Using activated carbon and other solvent-free methods, purify and remove odors from the final MCT product7. Perform rigorous quality control to assure final product meets Specifications per Standard Operating Processes (SOPs), Lot basis.8. Release lot for sale

Q: 95% of the triglycerides in this product are caprylic acid. What fatty acids are in the other 5%?

95-99% Caprylic Acid Triglycerides (Octanoic Acid/C8:0) ingredients: derived from modified coconut and/or sustainale modified palm kernel oil(medium-chain triglycerides)

Q: Is this 18x stronger than coconut oil like Brain Octane?

Hi Heather, Thank you for for your question. All domestically-manufactured liquid C8 MCTs currently on the market are very similar compositionally and will have similar biological properties, relative to coconut oil. We cannot comment specifically on the merits of a particular marketing message from another company.

Dear Aly:Thank you for the kind feedback. It means a lot to us.The biggest demand has been for 32 oz bottles, but we will bring back our popular 3 oz travel size in the near future. 32 oz is more economical than 16 oz, and very feasible because of the long shelf life of our MCT oil.
