We needed a new ignition lock for my wife's mobility scooter; our local firm were asking £90 just for a call-out. This was a straighforward swap for the old lock. The only tricky bit was dismantling the housing on the scooter tiller without any instructions, but I found some helpful videos on YouTube. It's only day one, but it seems to be working fine. As a bonus we now have a spare key where we only had one before.

My Grandmother in law had lost the keys for her mobility scooter. Called round local shops for a replacement, they all wanted £100 plus for the exact same thing and some wouldn’t sell you the ignition lock, they wanted to charge a fitting fee onto of the lock price. Took me around half an hour to replace it and saved over £100 in the process.

Got my toddler an electric car at Christmas but just had basic switch to turn on and off.Wanted something that at least gave the illusion of security for when we parked it at the local play park and this was perfect.Just popped out the existing switch and this fitted right in in it's place.Son loves it too as now he gets to start his car with his car keys just like daddy.

Wired it up to bike ignition and it broke within a week. Less than 200 miles and I had complete power loss on a motorway roundabout because the switch broke where its soldered to wire. Please avoid this if you don't want to end up dead and sprawled down the road like a dropped lasagne.
