Good basic phone
A good old fashioned mobile. It’s not touch screen so not a smart phone, you can’t download apps or emails. It’s unlocked but only takes small SIM cards (my dad’s sim was too big). This phone is perfect if you just want to use a mobile as phone and not a mini tablet/iPad.

Okay product
Works alright it can be a bit difficult to use buttons but that's expected as it's not touchscreen the battery life is good and it's a bit basic but overall works well.

About as basic as a mobile phone comes today.
I bought this because i wanted a simple one to use as i bought it for my 85 year old mother.i think shes got the hang of it now.you can put all the various apps available today if wanted but my mother wouldn't need any of those.A very good, simple to use phone.

No option for turning off “national emergency” alert.
Had for about six months. Simple phone and old-style texting. Battery lasts a good few days per charge. the menu is pretty woeful so don’t expect any hidden gems there. I gave it one star because it does not give the option to block the national (surveillance) security alerts. A purchased phone that doesn’t allow you this option is not your phone, no matter what the receipt says. Will be binning this and looking for a phone of my own.

A super little phone
A super little pocket-sized phone that is ideal for anyone just wanting basic talk and text functionality. I don't know how long the battery lasts, maybe a couple of days, I've not measured it. But never needed to, so obviously long enough. No charger, just use the included cable to connect to a USB. A decent sized, bright screen with easy-to-read font. Seems no PIN lock for the phone or if there is, I can't make it work. I paired this with an Asda text and talk SIM for 4 GBP per month. What's not to like?

OK as a 4G Feature Phone
I had to switch from a nokia phone to one that was reliable with 4G support and real buttons. I need a phone that can just stay in standby for days, and only require charging once every 4/5 days. This phone fits the bill but I do not make many calls, hardly any in fact. The user interface is clunkier than it needs to be but might be ok if you are use to alcatel phones. I have noticed that there is a shortcut that somehow activates the flashlight, it activates quite easily and I cannot find what the shortcut is, and it drains the battery in a matter of a few hours if it goes unnoticed.

Nice cheap phone but texting not as easy as my old Nokia 130
Further update............... abandoned the phone after 6 months and gone back to Nokia.... picked up a Nokia 130 that I used to have. Its just so much better particularly the predictive texting is in a different league. With hindsight, probably should have given the phone 3 stars max so just amended it.Update after using the phone for 3 months............ pretty good really. Couple more minor problems I discovered........ if you set the alarm to sound monday to friday and not the weekend, it doesn't do Friday so you have to do that separately!!Text messages......... when you're not using predictive text ( which is pretty poor anyway) the option to type in capitals for a word doesn't work... its just a lower font. Anyway.... I'd still recommend the phone as excellent value..... just wish their predictive text was as good as my old nokia 130 was..Excellent value at the price..... what do you expect for £31? Bought this to replace my old Nokia 130 which I loved but they didn't do anymore. Nice big keys/buttons. Seems a good little phone though there's a few things I didn't like compared to the Nokia. I could have done with the ring a bit louder... it was turned up to the max and I'm not deaf!........ it's quite ok for normal use though but the extra volume was handy if I was using some machinery on in a noisy room. Similarly, couldn't have the vibrate on with the sound.... it was one or the other and the vibrate was again useful in a noisy environment where I could feel it in my pocket. Poor instructions.... took me a while to work out how the various unit "convert" options were available.............. still, didn't even have a "convert" on the last Nokia so that's an improvement. The predictive text was very poor compared to the Nokia........... ok... it worked but every word you typed then appeared with options on a bottom line... you then had to look to see if it had chosen the one you want or move across to find the correct one....then press the cspace button before it appeared in the main screen.... a right pain taking much longer plus switching between capitals/non-capitals was more involved. Non-predictive text works fine though and with these problems, might actually be quicker to use. Camera is pretty poor but it'll do for the odd emergency picture..... doubt I'll use or need it to be honest. Anyway it'll do for now and for the price, it's a pretty good phone and I'd recommend it. .

Not suitable for elderly
I bought this phone for my 91 year old father who has had mobile phones for the last 20 years. He wanted a basic phone just for calls & mainly texting. However the phone reverts to predictive texting for every text he wants to send. There is no way to turn it off permanently which is very disappointing & frustrating. The instruction booklet which I downloaded does not give any clear instructions & I followed online guidance which didn't help either. The phone is now defunct & sitting in a cupboard.....unused.
