It gets the job done.

I live in NYC. The tap water here is pretty clean. I use these filters to help remove the chlorine taste in the tap water. These filters last about 10 weeks with heavy use for a household of 5 before I need to replace the filter. These also worked pretty good when there's work on the waterline mains which kicks up a lot of rust and sediments in the pipe turning the water coming into the house brownish. The filter pretty much removes the brownish color and the rust/metallic taste out of the water.

I like these They defintely eliminate chlorine smell from tap. Not sure how effective it is for anything else. Easy to install takes one minute

A year ago I decided to invest in a water purifier for my sink. I was not only tired of buying gallon jugs every week I was concerned about drinking from plastic containers. After reviewing many different brands I felt this would be the best for my needs. I bought enough refills to take me thru a year. It came with different style adapters to fit most faucets and after figuring out which fit mine it was easy to attach the filter. What I like most is the filter is able to be switched from regular full force water (unfiltered) from the tap to just the filtered water which runs in a slower stream so you can fill bottles. It tastes good and there is no smell of chemicals like I was getting from the tap water. The refills last about 3 months before you start to notice a difference in taste and need to replace them. For the price and ease of use I find this brand a good value.
