I am a personal trainer and most of my clients are 'older adults' so I work with functional fitness. This book has transformed my approach to fitness, especially for people who are not gym users for whatever reason. This book has had a greater effect on me than anything I learned during my training.

This book is awesome!
I literally can't stop telling people about this book, its completely mind blowing! All of the concepts are fascinating and make you really stop and think how badly we have messed up our bodies over the years.

Good for people who don't know much about the subject
Excellent if you're new to the subject, otherwise you might find you already know most of it if not all.Took a star off for the random highlights and badly placed info bits, it was difficult to figure out which part of the main text they related to, so I didn't always read the book in logical order and had to jump back and forth a bit.

Got any issues with physical movement?
Read this book and learn we should be concerned about maintaining physical ‘movement’.. no hyp just clear factual explanation of the reasons you are likely in pain, and hoe to move your way out of it!

A powerful book.
This book is about moving your body in ways that it really benefits from outside of the gym environment. Thought provoking and shows why primal movement is the key to a healthy mind and body.
