The tablets are smooth and uniform, and the packaging allows them to arrive unbroken. It's nice being able to swallow only three tablets to get 1000 mg of calcium, rather than five or ten like some other brands.

They are big as horse pills, and you have to take three of them to get the dosage

This is a fairly large tablet but contains only 333 mg of calcium. However as the citrate form it is much better absorbed than the more common carbonate form. This form of calcium is particularly needed by people who have reduced stomach acid from disease or from medication.
