I'm really not sure who's to blame for this but I hope this information is useful in some way. Received package on time, however upon opening the box it appears that those moisture absorbing silica packs ripped open during transport and all the silica beads were inside the unit and I had to dissect and open the entire unit to get out all the silica beads. Either these items need to be handled better or the silica packs need to be placed somewhere else so if it does burst, it doesn't end up inside your unit. Unit works fine.. i think.. and i hope the smell it is giving off is normal and not because the beads rubbed onto the filter.

my partner and i are sleeping in a small den (no windows) and i assumed that it being a tight enclosed space this would have some effect on the room temp but it really is only effective if you're directly in front of it.

I read the instruction manual and followed it exactly. It leaked after running for 10 minutes. It does cool my room very well, as long as I put a towel under it. I've not yet been able to figure out why it's leaking.

Was pretty disappointed in this because I thought it would be able to cover my very small room. But... the area that it covers is literally just a desk space. It does its job, not gonna lie... but it's just so expensive for such a small coverage.
