Great to keep from licking area
I really thought this body suit was great for my dogs surgical site. Easy to apply and snap it up that's it.

easy on and off
easy to put on and take off. does not take long to do so. my dog does not mind having it on and it might even comfort her to have the suit on. very pleased

Cute pajamas, so-so recovery suit
I'm very happy with this product! XXL was perfect for my 50lb pit mix. We got this as an extra layer of protection for his incision site after abdominal surgery. There is a decent amount of give around the waist/lower chest but it's snug around the neck which was perfect for our needs. It sits closer to the shoulders than the neck so it won't rub the collar. The leg holes are elastic and pretty snug as well so it fits securely. The only problem I had was the hole in the back for the tail/waste is loose enough that my boy was able to get to his genitals pretty easily so I imagine if he had enough time unsupervised he could get to his stitches pretty easily. I wouldn't recommend this as the only safeguard for stitches but it is great as an extra layer of protection or to keep stitches/staples from getting caught on furniture. It let me give my boy a break from the cone/donut while supervising him closely but an unsupervised dog would get through or around it easily. Also it is SUPER cute as just lightweight pajamas!Pictured is my boy in the XXL and the Large I originally bought for comparison.

Much better than the cone!
I love this little outfit. It works perfect to keep him from licking the area he's having issues with right now (crease of rear leg "pit", where it meets his body). I was concerned he'd still be able to reach it since this doesn't have sleeves, but it's working well. I docked a star for comfort because he hated it initially and wouldn't move, even though it fit him loosely. He'd just stand there. I tried unbuttoning some of the top and bottom and he's much happier! This is a big upgrade from the cone that wouldn't allow him to easily eat/drink from his bowls. I'm so glad I tried this out.For reference, he's a 26lb sheltie and the XL fit best. Also, the material is soft and stretchy and it looks well made. I'll be sure to update my review if I notice any issues after continued wear.

It's wonderful!
This little jumper was absolutely perfect! Not only did it make my little puppy look adorable, it helped her stay away from her spay surgery site, and it entertained us watching her wrestle with it. Seriously though, out of all the surgery suits I bought this one was my favorite. It was loose enough that I didn't feel like it was rubbing on her surgery site; unfortunately it was probably a little bit too loose because when she would roll around on the fabric of either the sofa or her dog bed she would eventually get caught in the suit and unable to move either her front legs or her back legs. She looked hopeless and it was hysterical. We still like to ask the dog if she wants to put on her jammies, and she'll run right over to her bed and grab the jammies from the shelf (i'm pretty sure it's because she wants to eat them which at this point is fine 🤣). Get em!

Not perfect, but it did the job long enough
Our 55lb smaller framed yellow lab fit ok into an XXL. Length wise it fit right, but the front leg holes seemed to irritate the front of her legs by rubbing. It didn't help that the suit would slide backwards and due to the direction of her fur, it would never slide back into it's correct position without our intervention. It was nice that she was able to keep it on and still do her business when we would take her outside. We got it as an alternative to a cone or pinned up tshirt after she was spayed and it did it's job for the most part. She was able to slip out of it over night the last three days she wore it which wasn't that cool. I wouldn't make her wear it unless it was a necessity.

Works just like I hoped!
I ordered the XXX large based on another rec for my 18 month old golden retriever. She’s around 60 pounds and it ended up being a little large for her but I like that it covered her incision and made me worry less about her being able to get to it. I did still keep a donut or cone on at all times just in case. There is an opening so she can still go to the bathroom without having to remove this 100 button onesie lol

Too small
Size L was too small for my 20lb shiba inu. It looked just fine when I first put it on but when she sat down it would pull back and stretch around the front leg area. I woke up to her having the onesie half off or fully out of the suit 3 times until I just decided to use the donut. Lucky it didn't look like she licked her stitches, she just wanted to be more comfortable and slipped out of the suit somehow. Maybe if I sized up it would've been okay but I just went by the size chart.

Not for male neutering!
Do not waste your time or money on this or any similar styles if you’re purchasing for male neutering. The wound site is completely uncovered! Returned and purchased instead the MAXX post surgery suit and it covers perfectly.

Too big.
Was supposed to fit 6 to 12 lbs. My dachshund is 11.5 lbs. She had it off in less than 5 minutes. It was too baggy (and she is a little overweight)
