Un beau texte ancré dans l actualité dramatique de l’immigration mais pas seulement. L’espoir d’une vie meilleure existe. C’est bien écrit et s’il y a évidemment des tragédies, ce n’est jamais traité avec pathos ou misérabilisme. L’humour affleure ici et là et la rencontre finale entre les protagonistes est surprenante.

brilliant book. definitely would’ve deserved to be on the shortlist. love the prose used.wish it had been longer, would have loved to know how the characters were doing a year on.otherwise i can only recommend this book.

Fantastic novel. Three stories beautifully woven together. New voice from the real Ireland. Highly reccomended for anyone interested in Irish literature.
